A man wakes up in a room he doesn't know. While he tries to find a way out and figure out why he ended up in this room, he is haunted by flashbacks that makes it difficult for him to find the exit.

Eines Abends wacht Elias in einem ihm unbekannten Raum auf. Der Raum, kahl und dreckig ähnelt einem einfachen Lagerraum.

Das besondere an dem Raum ist, dass Elias möbel in dem Raum stehen. Sie stehen exakt so, wie sie auch in seiner Wohnung stehen.

Elias, verwundet und kraftlos versucht einen Ausweg aus diesem Keller zu finden. Die einzige Möglichkeit, eine verschlossene Tür.

Immer wieder versucht Elias die Tür aufzubekommen - vergebens.

Ob Elias den Ausweg aus diesem dunklen Raum in seinen Gedanken entflieht erfahrt ihr bald.

One evening Elias wakes up in a room he doesn't know. The room, bare and dirty, resembles a simple storage room.

The special thing about the room is that Elias has furniture in it. They stand exactly as they stand in his apartment.

Elias, wounded and powerless, tries to find a way out of this basement. The only possibility, a locked door.

Again and again, Elias tries to get the door open - in vain.

You'll soon find out if Elias can find a way out of this dark room in his mind.

Background

A few years ago, my friend decided to leave this world on his own. Depression accompanied him through his everyday life and made his world sink further into the gray from day to day. We would like to transport his emotional world through this short film in order to sensitize our society to the still taboo topic of "Mental Health".

The cast is manageable. In the story, there will be only two characters played by the acting newcomer Kilian Funke and Nils Arndt.

Kilian has completed professional acting training in the USA and has already gained some experience in front of and behind the camera.
